I have lived with my family on Valley St. in Ward 3 since 1980. I’m a retired kindergarten teacher. Being outdoors and learning about nature has been central to my life. We feel fortunate that our home abuts the Montview Conservation Area, which I actively help to steward. The properties we monitor will only become more precious sanctuaries as infill development proceeds in our city. Here I am holding a giant puffball that grew nearby. |

Originally from Kansas, I've lived in the meadows near the Connecticut River for thirty years. We've raised a family here, and I've served on the school committee. I've had a lifelong interest in the natural world, and the role of people and government in that world. The properties connected to M3C are a small but worthwhile part of that picture.
